Welcome to my first post, first weblog.. uh you get the idea…
This blog has been created as part of my particpation in Curtin University Course NET11 – Intro to Internet Communications. The primary aim here is to record course related learning outcomes, tasks, ideas etc..as I progress through the material. Simple right? Hmm yes but why am I feeling so damn scared? I’ve never written a blog before, yet I consider myself a pretty outgoing sort, so my reticence to do so really took me by surprise! What could this be about? fear of my ideas being judged? Being ‘outed’ as a late starter before I’ve had a chance to magically catch up (or outed as an idealist perhaps?), online stagefright? what, what, what!? Well I suspect it’s all of the above, but.. as there’s neither time nor money for therapy, best just get on with it…
